Addiction and denialism

Fascinating! they have a definition for the systematic denial of the obvious: denialism.

Food addiction is perfectly obvious - at least to food addicts. Read about denialism here - read, mark, learn and understand why no one speaks about addiction to food! Unless they call it "addiction". Those tiny pairs of quotation marks are the one sign of scepticism that guarantees that this person does want to discuss addiction to food as a real problem.

Rest assured we do not do denialism here: we face the truth and also we explore the underling truths of what seems to be obvious.

Food addiction is self harm. There is a deep, negative emotional reason why people do bad things to themselves, which we at least will not deny: together we will explore food addiction fearlessly until we get to the bottom of it. I decided this ten years ago and I think I am very close to the truth, but who am I to know? Only you, dear readers and fellow food addicts can help me find the truth of addiction to food.
